FasTrak Appraisal (“we,” “us,” or “our”) provides professional residential real estate valuation services across Southern California. We are committed to maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and data protection for our clients and website visitors.

We collect information that you voluntarily provide when you request a quote, schedule an inspection, or contact us for a consultation. This includes:
- Personal Identifiers: Name, email address, and phone number.
- Property Data: Physical address of the subject property and property characteristics.
- Case Details: The intended use of the appraisal (e.g., estate settlement, divorce proceedings, or tax appeal).
2. Internal Use of Information
Your information is used strictly to conduct our professional appraisal business. We do not use your data for automated marketing or high-frequency newsletters. Primary uses include:
- Developing an accurate scope of work and fee quote.
- Communicating regarding the status of your valuation.
- Finalizing and delivering your professional appraisal report.
3. Data Confidentiality & Protection
In accordance with the Ethics Rule of the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP), we maintain strict confidentiality regarding the results of your appraisal.
- No Sale of Data: We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal or property information with third-party marketers or data brokers.
- Internal Security: Access to your data is restricted to FasTrak Appraisal personnel who require the information to perform their professional duties.
4. California Privacy Rights (CalOPPA & CCPA)
Under the California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), we provide the following disclosures:
- "Do Not Track": Our website does not currently alter its behavior in response to browser "Do Not Track" (DNT) signals.
- Right to Know & Access: You have the right to request a disclosure of the personal information we have collected about you over the past 12 months.
- Right to Delete: You may request that we delete your personal information. However, please note that we are legally required by California State Law and USPAP to maintain an appraisal "Workfile" for a minimum of five (5) years (or two years after the final disposition of any judicial proceeding in which testimony was given). We cannot delete data that is part of a legally mandated workfile until this retention period has expired.
- Notice at Collection: We only collect the categories of data listed in Section 1 for the purposes listed in Section 2.
5. Third-Party Disclosures
We do not disclose your personal information to third parties except in the following circumstances:
- To comply with a court order or legal subpoena.
- To satisfy an audit by a state regulatory agency or a professional peer-review committee.
- With your express written consent (e.g., sending the report to your attorney or CPA).
